Home buyers, as you know, seek out the home of their liking based on condition, location and value. Your circumstances are not part of the home buying equation. Home buyers compare your home to the competing properties and decide which ones they want to see. From the ones they choose to view, they narrow it down to the one or two they would want to purchase.
The real estate market changes every day. A few years back, homes were selling at a brisk pace. In fact, in some communities, home buyers outnumbered home sellers by a 20 to 1 margin. Now, the market is different. The biggest differences are that there are fewer home buyers, homes are remaining on the market longer and are selling for less money than they were previously.
It is expected that the current pricing trend will continue. In other words, we may not have seen the bottom yet.
